Engine Trouble

Standard

This morning, Dad noticed a leak in the fuel line to the engine. The reason for the leak was that the compression fitting got cracked. Just before we passed Cincinnati, Ohio, Dad called the marina across the river in Kentucky. Some one at the marina directed him to a parts store on the Ohio Side. Dad took the dinghy to the store and they didn’t have the part. A woman that worked there kindly rode him four or five miles to another store where the gave him the part for free! Dad gave him a five dollar tip and the woman rode him back to the river. Dad replaced the part and noticed that the alternator belt tension was loose.

In two posts, I will explain more about this.
